Denise has a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and minor in Management from Robert Morris University (RMU).

After graduating from RMU, she worked in commercial sales for more than 10 years. Having a commissioner with a background in creating relationships with business managers will help in forging the connections needed for beneficial development in Ross Township.

Denise is in her 29th year with SAS Institute, a global analytical software company, where she collaborates with sales teams from across the U.S., U.K., and Australia to create, develop, and execute plans to target potential clients.

Her 40-year-long career managing projects, researching, analyzing, and programming solutions in marketing and commercial sales has given her the skills and experience to turn macro-level problems into manageable solutions.

Denise has a proven record of collaborating with all levels of personnel and management, and has the ability to create an environment of open dialog, uncovering problems, researching, and analyzing to develop innovative solutions.

FAMILY & COMMUNITY

Denise has lived in Ward 8 Ross Township for more than 34 years with her husband Jim.

Denise and Jim raised their daughter Vanessa in North Hills school district, from the time she was in kindergarten at Northway Elementary to graduation at North Hills High School.

Vanessa has since graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, and has her PhD researching and teaching social inequality from Michigan State University. She lives in Alexadria VA with her husband Logan and rescue dog Winston, but still considers the "Burgh" her forever home.

Denise loved spending time with her family, including her beloved 105-year-old mother Toni. Denise understands the importance of family values, especially after losing 3 of her brothers.

In her free time, Denise enjoys biking and gardening with her husband, having bonfires with her neighbors, and going on walks in the community with her golden retriever Tucker.
